Hello everyone! Today on Once Upon a Gown, we are sharing one of our bride’s beautiful wedding in Italy at Lake Como. Prepare yourself, these photos are drop dead gorgeous! You may just find yourself booking your next trip to Italy after seeing their wedding. Christa and Nathan tied the knot at Villa Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy. As you can see, Christa was absolutely breathtaking in her Martina Liana wedding dress. Christa wore a Bellagio crepe gown with lace detailing the bodice down through the hips and has a lace scallop hem. This gown did feature a cameo back detail but Christa opted to remove it and make it an open keyhole back, which made for a beautiful statement in these photos. We definitely think Christa looked romantic, sexy and glamorous on her big day!

We are beyond excited to finally share the Halloween styled photo shoot we participated in. We felt it was very fitting to wait and post this “Haunted House” shoot on Halloween Day! We absolutely love the photos and truly feel that they captured that whimsical, dark, and dreamy look which is perfect for all of those brides who would love a Tim Burton themed wedding. We chose gowns for both the ghost and present day brides from our Martina Liana Separates line. The ghost bride wore the Jude top, a long sleeve bodice that is covered with a beautiful Alencon lace with a higher neckline and completed with the flowy Scout skirt. The present day bride wore the romantic Bryce bodice in a black intricate lace that gives a hint of sexy on the wedding day, and matched it with the voluminous tiered Stevie skirt with horsehair trim and in the color nightfall. Again, we just fell in love with the photos and hopes it gives some inspiration to those brides who want a unique style on their wedding day!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday so far! Today on Once Upon a Gown we are sharing the gorgeous wedding of our bride Brenna and her new hubby Pete! They tied the knot in Montecito, California in a stunning chapel, and their reception was just breathtaking. Brenna wore a classic A-line wedding dress that featured delicate Alencon lace appliques by Martina Liana. She also wore a matching veil from Veil Trends that had an Alencon lace trim. We think Brenna looked absolutely gorgeous on her big day and we are so happy for the new Mr. & Mrs.!

Since Summer is coming to an end, we thought we would say good bye to the hot summer days with this awesome Mexico wedding! Our bride Stephanie and her fiance Ben tied the knot in Punta Mita, Mexico on May 26th. Oh my goodness these photos make us want to fly down there and lay out on the sandy beaches with a nice tropical drink while watching those beautiful waves. We love destination weddings, and we adore how this one was completed with sombrero hats and maracas. Stephanie looked absolutely gorgeous her in Martina Liana wedding gown that was just perfect for the beach! Her wedding gown has a boho vibe to it with its bold lace pattern and featuring a plunging v-neckline, deep side cutouts, and a strappy back detail. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Booker!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday! It’s a beautiful day and it’s getting closer to the weekend. Today on Once Upon a Gown, we are sharing our bride Monica who is such a beauty. Monica and Randy tied the knot on May 4th at The Chicory in New Orleans; which used to be a coffee warehouse that has been transitioned into a wedding venue that has an old-world charm that includes exposed beams, brick walls and gas lanterns. We think this venue was the perfect backdrop for Monica’s Art Deco wedding. We also think Monica chose the perfect dress to shine and make a statement on her big day. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her Martina Liana gown that had a plunging V neckline and open back, sheer bodice, and was adorned with beading and lace. This wedding dress definitely ensures that all eyes are on the bride!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
We are so excited to finally share these lovely photos from a Valentine’s Day photo shoot that took place at The Nest at Ruth Farms. Our Martina Liana wedding dress was the perfect dreamy and romantic piece for this shoot. This wedding dress has a soft tulle A-line skirt, a gorgeous beaded lace bodice with dainty off the shoulder straps. Those fairy tale shots of the back of the dress and going up the stairs are just simply breathtaking! We just love the pops of color in this shoot which looked absolutely amazing with this venue. Also, we can’t forget about the “cherry” on top of this shoot… the sugar… that scrumptious cake, macaroons, and cookies. Yummy! Definitely wishing we had all of that to munch on for today, I mean that’s totally acceptable for today of all days, right?!
